Innovative Technologies 8(a) EMAC Award Contract No.
Accord Engineering and team members ARCADIS U.S., Inc and GSI Environmental were awarded an 8(a) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Environmental Multiple Award Contract (EMAC) in April 2009 for innovative environmental engineering and incidental services by the NAVFAC Engineering Service Center. The contract is worth $75M total with a base year and four 1-year options.
The purpose of this contract is to obtain support for: (1)innovative environmental solutions, (2) support for guiding and managing innovative environmental projects, (3) site characterization, data analysis, and data management utilizing the Triad approach and Navy Installation Restoration Information System (NIRIS), (4) environmental reporting and document preparation, (5) innovative environmental solutions outreach, and (6) environmental program management support.
The afore mentioned services will be provided in support of programs and projects at various levels of government, including federal and regional or local installation level. Programs include:
1. Environmental Programs - The Environmental Restoration (ER), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Munitions Response Program (MRP), Range Sustainability and Compliance programs, Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), Underground Storage Tank (UST), Natural Resources, Sormwater, Occupational Safety and Health; and
2. Non-Environmental requests that have environmental aspects to the project or program including the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program.
